Nurturing connection through therapy and movement.

Hi, my name is Layla Jasper. I am a queer therapist, dancer, and facilitator with over a decade of experience in community mental health and education.

As a professional psychotherapist, my passion lies in fostering sustainable communities. While I engage with individuals of all demographics and ages, my approach is uniquely centered around creativity and connection.

I provide a safe space for toddlers, children, youth and adults to creatively heal trauma, learn nervous system regulation tools and connect to the body’s language. People who experience the most success with me want to use expressive arts and mindfulness to increase embodiment, unlearn limiting beliefs and learn tools for nervous system regulation.

Imagination, hope and creativity go offline for us when we are overwhelmed, anxious or feeling numb and depressed.

Learning to find regulation through co-regulation and creativity can help us to see the bigger picture of life, the possibilities and hope for the future.
